Q&A
1. Has a budget
been established for this project?
If so, what is that amount?
We're currently seeking competitive proposals for the project and are open to discussing the budget once we've had a chance to evaluate the scope of work proposed by each consultant. Our primary focus is finding a consultant who can deliver high-quality results within a reasonable and justifiable cost structure.
2. Is this project whole or partially grand funded?
If so, what grant and what fiscal year?
We are, currently, seeking funding opportunities for the project. Nothing has been secured to date.
3. Public Meetings
How many in-person public meetings is the City requesting?
To clarify, the City is not specifically requesting in-person public meetings as part of this proposal. However, we are open to considering them if you believe they would add significant value to the project, taking into account the associated costs. If you see a benefit in including such meetings, please feel free to outline this in your proposal, along with the rationale and estimated costs.
4. City Council meetings
Confirming there are 2 City Council meetings and 1 Planning Committee in-person meetings?
The City holds two City Council meetings (2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, 5:30 PM) and two Planning Commission meetings, per month (1st & 3rd Thursday of each month, 5:30 PM).
5. Award of Bid
I saw in the LHMP RFP that the City planned to make a decision on awarding the project by October 22nd. Has a consultant been select for entering a contract?
The Request for Proposal identified October 22, 2024 as a tentative date. Currently, the selection has been moved to the Council Meeting on December 10, 2024.
