Human Resources is responsible for administering the City's human resources management system, including labor relations, benefits administration, and staff development, as well as providing personnel support services to all City departments. Responsibilities of the Division include recruitment, application review, and testing of all candidates for City employment. In addition, the Department oversees the administration of compensation and benefits for all current employees, labor relations, contract negotiations and the maintenance of personnel records. Finally, Human Resources also coordinates all the risk management functions for the City including claims administration.
