AB 481 requires each law enforcement agency to make available the potential military equipment they seek to obtain. The requirement is to post the equipment 30 days before the approval of the agency’s governing body.
- Currently, The Department is not seeking to acquire any Categorized Military Equipment.
- According to California Government Code § 7071(d)(6), members of the public may register complaints, concerns, or submits questions about the use of specific type of Categorized Military Equipment in this policy by any of the following means:
