Sandbags -
The City provides sandbags for residents to use in preparation for heavy rain.

Public Works Maintenance Yard
621 E. Sierra Madre Blvd.
Bags are provided. Please bring your own shovel to fill them. Residents are responsible for transporting filled bags.

Storm Preparedness Tips
Residents are encouraged to take simple steps before and during storms:
Sign up for emergency alerts through Nixle and Genasys Emergency Communications
Clear gutters, drains, and storm grates around your home
Secure outdoor furniture, trash bins, and loose items
Keep important documents and medications accessible
Maintain an emergency kit with food, water, flashlights, and batteries
Check your vehicle’s fuel level and tire condition
Keep pets indoors and ensure they have a safe, dry space
